Target Online Job Application

If you are in need of a job in almost any industry, Target Online Job Applications is a wonderful place to start looking. Target is much more than just a discount store. It is a place that provides job seekers with a real future. Whether you're interested in positions of customer service, management, quality assurance, product design and development, product chain and distribution center management, food science and quality assurance, information technology, communications, or pharmacy, (and much more) Target has something to offer.

Before you log on to fill out your application, it is first recommended that you read about the benefits of working for the company. You can find out more by clicking on the "Working at Target" tab on the front page of the companies website. There, you will be able to read about company benefits, locations for employment, and more. To apply for a position, simply click on the "Careers" tab located on the front page. You will then be asked to select exactly what position you are applying for and in what setting. You can either select stores, corporate, or distribution as your desired work setting. You will also be asked to select that you are either an experienced professional or college student, as well as whether you prefer hourly salary or salaried jobs.

From there, you will be taken to the application to apply for the selected position. The application consists of the basic requirements, including your name, gender, race, age, physical, mailing, and electronic mailing addresses, your current employer, lists of all recent employers, degrees held and/or skills that qualify you for the position you are applying for, and consent to perform all necessary background checks. On the front page of the application, it states that it may take up to 45 minutes to complete, so make sure to keep that in mind.

As you are filling out your application, you will be asked a series of questions about all of your recent employers. You will be required to provide all necessary information regarding company names, supervisors, dates worked, and reasons for leaving. Be sure to be 100 percent honest when filling out this part of the application (and obviously, all other parts as well) because any false information will automatically disqualify you for the position, regardless of the degree or level of experience you possess.

Honesty is very important during the application process. Another section that will require 100 percent honesty is your criminal history. If you have a criminal history, provide every detail. When a company finds out that an applicant has a criminal history and does not list it, they are automatically disqualified. Most individuals who do have criminal histories and list all the required information are not disqualified, it's just a matter of honesty.

Once you've provided all basic information, you'll be ask to answer some additional questions. It is critical that you volunteer to answer questions that are listed as "voluntary" as it shows your genuine interest in employment with Target. As you answer the additional questions, take some time to really concentrate on what is being asked. Once you are finished, you will be taken to the last page that will confirm your application is complete and that will also display a message informing you that you will be notified as soon as a position comes open.
